Wellness Wednesday: Açaí Dessert

My favorite healthy dessert is an açaí berry smoothie recipe found in my favorite book about food, Kimberly Snyder’s Beauty Detox Solution. It tastes like chocolate milk, but is a lot better for you! I always keep the main ingredients— frozen acai berry packets, almond milk, raw cacao and a good sweetener (the book recommends stevia)— stocked at my house for anytime I have a sweet tooth. I usually find the açaí berry at Whole Foods or Gelson’s— it can be a little harder to find than the other ingredients.
